Practical guides
Which paper to choose for a high-end poster?
Matte, textured or premium paper: we guide you to the right choice according to your wishes and the light of the room.

Paper is the poster’s first material. It decides the velvet of the blacks, the hold of the beiges, the way light slides. Here is how to choose without needless jargon.
Classic paper, 250 g/m²
Ideal for a crisp print, a controlled budget, a wall sheltered from direct sun. The grain stays discreet. It suits graphic compositions and motif portraits.
Premium paper, 300 g/m²
More substance, more presence. Skies, seas, sand grounds gain depth. This is the choice we recommend for a living room, looked at every day.
Matte rather than glossy
Gloss reflects the windows. Matte holds the image. For an interior, matte is almost always more generous: you come close, you read the pigment, you do not wipe a halo.
Framed or unframed
The oak frame protects and signs the work. Unframed, under glass, it lightens a small apartment. In both cases, a mat is not required if the print already has a white margin.
Studio Vallor prints in France. Paper is not a product-sheet detail: it is the place where the image exists. Compare the options on each poster page.
